Thailand Calling

Sometimes it’s hard to explain to people how exciting it is to speak. For most people public speaking is worst than death itself. I kid you not…I have a friend who has written a book about the said thing.
Anyway I am truly blessed to have been selected as one of the speakers for the igenius [...]

Millionaire’s Mission

Hmmm…okay then.
It’s very hard for TV programmes featuring entrepreneurs to tick the boxes for me. Dragon’s Den (started off good), Apprentice (oh my lord), Tycoon (oh dear!). I think the only two that have worked for me so far have been Make Me A Million and Risking it All. I tried to capture a [...]

Blogwatch: Charcoal Ink

The latest blog on my radar is Charcoal Ink.
Aulelia (pictured rocking a natural fro) is a great writer and I just love her punchy posts. I only recently discovered her site but spent the best part of day reading it. (Call it research!)

I wonder if I ever spoke to my Dad like that what he would have said.
Young [...]

Glasgow. Lovin’ It!

I am in Glasgow for a few days doing some recording for the “worlds worst kept secret!”.
I love this city.  I often  remark that I  like it much more than I do Edinburgh.
Edinburgh reminds me too much of  London.
I love the architecture and the people here. Very welcoming.
I hope to come back here soon….when I [...]

Education Roundup

In the news there were reports on careers advice being too confusing for many students. I have always been of the belief that we should be equipping students with skills but once they left school not everyone will know what job they want but at least be aware of where their talents lie to make [...]

This Week in Schools

Last week I had the opportunity of giving the closing keynote at the Inspired for Life conference for Gifted and Talented students in London. What an amazing experience! To see a group of energetic and focused year 10’s who are clearly destined for great things was good and very difficult to describe unless you are [...]
