Last weekend my wife Madeline (right) and her good friend Chantelle, walked 60km for breakthrough for breast cancer.
Between them they raised just under £3500 on what was a very emotional walk.
Although tired they both came through unscathed and with a deeper sense of womanhood.
Chris (Chantelle’s husband) and I are afraid. Very afraid.
I am so proud [...]

Every day I get emails in my inbox (the free email account that is).
Junk mail with offers to enlarge my nether regions (errr..am fine thanks), or to tell me that I could be rich beyond my wildest dreams, or win a car or lose weight!
Hold on a minute….Why are we so stuck on me! me! [...]

Me and My Music

My friend Raz introduced me a little while back to Pillar.
Although coming from a soul/gospel background I have found over the last couple of years a wider breadth of worship music involving various genres of music.
Pillar, along with other heavyweights such as POD, Audio Adrenaline, Switchfoot, etc have opened my eyes to an edgier music [...]
Jesus Walks

Spoke yesterday at a youth day in Fulham (in London for the internationals!)
The topic Jesus Walks was a deliberate play on the song of the same name by Kanye West and also a more retrospective reflection on a song by Jim Reeves called In the Garden.
The focus was about how real faith has to be. [...]
Diet and Faith

For years many people of faith have enquired about the importance of diet with spirituality. OK off the bat, I am going to admit that I am a fan of the actress Rene Zellweger. I feel no shame!
The release today that she is going to annul her marriage to country star Kenny Chesney is such a pity. Whatever the reason for them breaking up, or the opinion by Dr Phil [...]
Mystery Worshipper

Ship of Fools is a satirical website which looks at religion. One of the sharpest sections is the mystery worshipper, where a volunteer visits churches across various denominations and reports on such delights as
hardness of the pew
style of worship
after service coffee
whether or not they were welcomed to the church
the nature and length of the sermon
[...]

My worship album of the year….fo sho
From the first track “Let it Rise” the album immediately pulls the listener into, as the title rightly says, “A Call to Worship”.
The up tempo songs such as “Rejoice”, “Cry Out” and “Undignified” have me toe tapping on a regular. While the more reflective songs such as [...]
The Afterlife

A work colleague passed away this morning.
Having gone in for a general check up for back pain a few weeks ago she realised that she had quite extensive cancer. After a number of operations she passed away peacefully this morning.
It made very reflective of this life and the afterlife.
As a Christian my belief of the [...]
